Hajj & Umrah Vaccinations: What You Need Before You Travel

The Meningitis ACWY requirement

Saudi authorities require pilgrims to show proof of a quadrivalent Meningitis ACWY vaccination to obtain a Hajj or Umrah visa. The vaccine should usually be given a number of days before you arrive, and the certificate is valid for several years.

When to get vaccinated

Book as early as you can. A single dose is enough for most adults, but giving it in good time means it's effective before you travel and there's no last-minute rush. Bring any documentation you've been asked to provide, and we'll give you a record of your vaccination.
