The NHS Blood Pressure Check Service is generally available to adults aged 40 years and over in England who have not been diagnosed with high blood pressure and have not had a recent blood pressure check by a healthcare professional. Additional patients may be eligible following GP referral or pharmacist assessment.

This NHS service helps identify previously undiagnosed high blood pressure. If your reading requires further investigation, we may recommend follow-up with your GP or another healthcare professional. Not suitable for medical emergencies.
