Common questions
Does a finger-prick blood test hurt?
Only very briefly. It's a small pinprick on the fingertip — most people find it quick and easy, and it's done in moments.
How quickly will I get my results?
These are same-day tests. For most tests you'll have your results on the day of your appointment, and we'll talk them through with you.
Do I need to prepare or fast beforehand?
It depends on the test. For some, such as cholesterol, we may ask you to avoid eating for a few hours first. We'll let you know what's needed when you book.
