If you are eligible for a free NHS COVID-19 vaccination, our trained pharmacy team can vaccinate you at either of our Swindon pharmacies. Here is who qualifies and how to book.

Who can get a free NHS COVID-19 jab?

COVID-19 vaccination is now focused on those at highest risk of becoming seriously unwell. For the autumn and winter 2026 programme, you can get a free NHS COVID-19 vaccination if you are:

  • Aged 75 or over
  • A resident in a care home for older adults
  • Aged 6 months or over with a weakened immune system (immunosuppressed), as defined in the NHS Green Book

Eligibility is set by the NHS and reviewed each season. If you are not sure whether you qualify, our pharmacist can check for you.

How to book

Eligible patients book their NHS COVID-19 vaccination through the NHS — using the NHS App, at nhs.uk, or by calling 119 free of charge — and can choose Swindon Health Hub. You are also welcome to contact us directly and we will help you arrange it.

The autumn/winter 2026 programme runs from 1 October 2026 to 31 January 2027, alongside the flu programme.

If you are not in an eligible group but would still like protection, we offer a private COVID-19 vaccination too.

Eligibility for the free NHS COVID-19 vaccination is set by the NHS and confirmed by pharmacist assessment. This service is not for emergencies — if you feel seriously unwell, call 999, or NHS 111 for urgent advice.

For the autumn/winter 2026 programme, free NHS COVID-19 vaccination is offered to adults aged 75 and over, residents in care homes for older adults, and people aged 6 months and over who have a weakened immune system. Our pharmacist can confirm whether you qualify.

Our NHS COVID vaccination service runs at both of our Swindon pharmacies: Clive Parade Pharmacy, 16 Clive Parade, Cricklade Road, Swindon, SN2 1AJ; and Moredon Pharmacy, Moredon Medical Centre, Moredon Road, Swindon, SN2 2JG. Choose whichever is more convenient.
