What 'nominating' a pharmacy means

Through the NHS Electronic Prescription Service (EPS), your GP can send prescriptions straight to a pharmacy of your choice — no paper to collect or lose. Choosing us as your nominated pharmacy means your prescriptions arrive with us automatically.

How to nominate Swindon Health Hub

You can nominate us in a few ways:

  • Tell us in branch or over the phone and we'll set it up.
  • Ask your GP surgery to nominate Clive Parade Pharmacy or Moredon Pharmacy.
  • Use the NHS App to choose your nominated pharmacy.
  • Or nominate us online and we'll take care of the rest.

What happens next

Once you're nominated, your repeat prescriptions come to us automatically. We'll prepare them and let you know when they're ready to collect — or you can ask about our free local prescription delivery.

Switching is easy

You can change your nominated pharmacy at any time, and you don't need to make a separate trip to your GP to do it. There's no charge to switch, and your prescriptions remain NHS prescriptions as normal.

Frequently asked questions

How do I nominate your pharmacy?

Tell us in branch or by phone, ask your GP surgery, use the NHS App, or nominate us online — whichever is easiest.

Do I need to tell my GP?

You don't have to make a separate trip. We can arrange the nomination, or you can do it via the NHS App.

Can I change my nomination later?

Yes, at any time and free of charge. Your prescriptions simply start coming to your new chosen pharmacy.

Is prescription delivery free?

We offer free local prescription delivery. Contact your branch to confirm coverage for your area and check eligibility.

Will my prescriptions still be NHS?

Yes. Nominating a pharmacy doesn't change anything about your NHS prescriptions — it just changes where they're sent.
